Director of Maudsley Charity
Paul Mitchell
Paul Mitchell is Director of Maudsley Charity. He is responsible for developing the charity's strategic aims, directing the current major projects and overseeing the charity's grant making and governance arrangements.
He is also the Trust Secretary for South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) where he is responsible for the co-ordination of governance arrangements in support of the Members' Council, the Board of Directors, the Trust Executive as well as the Maudsley Charity. He is also the lead for the development of membership strategies to embed community involvement in the Foundation Trust.
Paul has spent most of his career in NHS management starting at Guy's hospital. He subsequently worked at Queen Mary's hospital in Roehampton, managed a number of Community Health Councils in Surrey and Hampshire and latterly was Corporate Affairs Manager for the Surrey and Borders Partnership Trust.
